Easy Fruit-Themed Desserts for a Tutti Frutti Birthday Party

Serving up fruit for a kids birthday party is healthy, easy and colorful, but it can also get a little boring. Try mixing it up with these fruit-themed desserts that are not only delicious, but also super easy to assemble.

For a Tutti Frutti Birthday Party I threw, I wanted to keep everything on theme with the colorful fruits. Instead of just serving a fruit plate and fruit salad, I wanted to mix up the treats without spending too much time or money. Luckily, with some store-bought ingredients and easy hacks, I made these three delicious and simple treats!

Strawberry Angel Food Cake

Everyone loves angel food cake, but not everyone has the time (or talent) to make one from scratch. The easiest way to serve a cake that will satisfy all of your guests is to buy a store-bought angel food cake and customize it to your liking. I topped mine with fresh strawberries and whipped cream, and served it on a plate to all of my guests!

Fruit Parfait Cups

Fruit salad is nice, but serving it out of a giant bowl is a little boring. Create your own parfaits using glass or clear plastic serving cups. Anything will do; champagne flutes, parfait cups or even stemless wine glasses. Layer your fruit in a fun and colorful way that will look good when displayed. I started with pineapple, then added some strawberries, cantaloupe and blackberries. Top with whipped cream, and serve!

Tutti Frutti Waffle Towers

Fruit and waffle kabobs, or towers, were a big hit at the party. I cut some corners by using store-bought mini waffles, and assembled them with whole strawberries and banana pieces. When serve upright, they make for a fun and interesting display! Get the full Tutti Frutti Waffle Tower Recipe here

Bonus: Fruit Bouquet

Another fun and easy way to serve your fruit desserts is with a Fruit Bouquet. They make for beautiful centerpieces and table decor, and also double as a delicious treat! Order this fun Just to See You Smile arrangement from Fruit Bouquets for your next bash!
