Easy & Inexpensive Paper Halloween Treat Holders

Though the costumes and parties certainly help make Halloween one of the funnest holidays to celebrate, it really would be incomplete without some sweet treats

We've got a few very simple, but very cute DIY Halloween treat holder ideas that are made from paper and will cost you very little to make.

The best part about these ideas? Since they're so inexpensive and easy, you get to be the hero to a whole lot of people when you hand out these goodie bags at your party!

Petrifying Halloween Paper Treat Cones

Around Halloween, you’re bound to hand out a treat bag or two if there are any children in your life! These Halloween paper treat cones are easy to create, but unique enough to be impressive.

I went to the local craft store and picked up a few sheets of Halloween scrapbook paper and a few stickers. You can use any number of color combinations here to create your own look!

Supplies
  • 8.5in x 11 in double sided scrapbook paper

  • Double-stick tape

  • Halloween sticker
Directions

Roll the paper into a cone shape and tape the edge down so it keeps its cone shape. Fill the cone with treats, then fold the pointed top over to create a lid for the cone. Use a festive sticker to seal the cone shut.

Little Pumpkin Paper Treat Bags

Every once in awhile, it’s fun to be “that mom” in your kids’ class that sends in the uber creative treat bags that all the kids get all excited about. Never mind what is inside, the BAGS are what's really cool! With a few quick snips of the scissors, you can make these darling little pumpkin treat bags.

Supplies
  • 4 5/8 in x 8 5/8 in orange paper bags
  • Black glitter paper
  • Green glitter paper
  • Pumpkin face template
Directions

Step 1: Print the pumpkin face printable template to the reverse side of the glitter paper and cut out. Free hand cut the stems from the green paper.

Step 2: Glue the face to the front of the orange paper bags then fill with goodies. Fold the top of the bag over and staple shut, gluing the stem over the staple. And you’re ready to impress all the kids!
