Edible Marshmallow 'Witch Craft'

Add some spook to your Halloween dessert spread with these edible Marshmallow witches!

Serve up a batch of marshmallow witch pops at your Halloween party for some wicked fun.

Marshmallow pops are easier to make than cake pops, but they're just as tasty and cute. No cooking or baking is involved in the making of these pops; you simply place a lollipop stick in a marshmallow, dip it in chocolate and decorate! It's an easy enough project that the kids can lend a hand.

If you have trouble with getting the marshmallow to stay on your stick when dipping in chocolate, place the marshmallows (already on sticks) in the freezer for an hour before dipping in the chocolate. The witch hats are a bit more time intensive to make, because they require dry time, but they are well worth the wait.

  • Bugles
  • Black Chocolate Melts
  • Toothpicks
  • FloraCraft Floral Foam
  • Oreo Cookies
  • Coconut
  • >Wilton Decorating Color Icing Violet
  • Large Freezer Bag
  • Green Chocolate Melts
  • Lollipop Sticks
  • Candy Eyeballs
  • Orange Tic-Tacs

Step 1: Melt the black chocolate melts in the microwave, according to package.

Dip your Bugles into the chocolate, placing on top of a toothpick in floral foam to dry. Wait until they are completely dry before proceeding to step 2.

Step 2: Separate the Oreo cookies from the cream and dip the cookie parts into the black chocolate melts using a fork, gently shaking off excess chocolate.

Place the chocolate covered Bugles on top of the Oreo cookie, which will make a witch hat.

Step 3: Place the coconut in a large freezer bag and mix with several drops of violet food dye until you get your desired shade of purple.

Step 4: Next, melt your green chocolate melts in the microwave, according to package. Place the lollipop sticks in your marshmallows and dip marshmallows in the green chocolate, gently shaking off excess chocolate.

Before the chocolate dries, roll half the marshmallow pop in purple coconut. Place the pop in floral foam to dry.

Step 5: Before the chocolate dries, place two of your Wilton candy eyes and an orange Tic-Tac on the front to make your witch's face. Place witch hat on top and that's it!
