Fall in Love With These Autumn Wedding Decor Ideas

Summer is traditionally a big time to get married, but more and more brides-to-be are opting for fall nuptials. With autumn comes so many gorgeous options for color schemes, outdoor venues and especially decor.

I am obsessed with fall weddings! I love the orange red tones, the outdoorsy feel, and anything made with burlap. I've rounded up some of my favorite fall wedding decor ideas that will help you get inspired whether you're planning a fall wedding or just love looking at pretty pictures!

Lantern Tablescape

via media-cache-ec0.pinimg.com

We've already rounded up 10 Wedding Tablescapes Inspirations, but I had to add this one into the mix. I love the play with dark lanterns and light flowers. Plus this will be great to take your evening wedding late into the night.

This is a really simple (and free!) decor item that will add charm to your wedding photos. Some added leaves, to remind you of the time of year brings great demention to an otherwise normal photo. You can also give guests little paper bags filled with leaves (dried and not too dirty or crumbly)  for them to throw when you leave the ceremony. The possibilities are endless!

Bobbing for Apples Seating Assignments

via ruffledblog.com

We've all seen average seating cards, but I like these because thay are totally different from the norm. Bobbing for apples is a fall favorite, so why not? Guests don't really have to get their face in the water of course, but puttin their name on apples in a big basin is a really cute idea.

Pumpkin Centerpiece

via blog.evite.com

Pumpkins and fall are like chocolate and peanut butter, they belong together. Adding some lace, or even painting pumpkin centerpieces are the perfect way to add creativity and personality to your tables. There are so many ways to customize pumpkins, and guests can even take them home with them when they leave!

S'Mores Fire Pits

I saw this, and thought, "Why didn't I think of that?!" A simple wooden box with rocks and a flame will turn dessert into a fun experience for all your guests. And everyone loves S'mores!

Wheat Boutineer

via etsy.com

Fall isn't known for its flowers like spring and summer. I love this boutineer because it really signifies the season, and can be saved to remember your wedding long past your "I dos".

DIY Handwarmer Favors

via raeannkelly.com

Unlike summer weddings, fall ones tend to get a bit chilly. This DIY from Rae Ann Kelly is a great way to keep your guests warm if you're having any part of your wedding outside. Plus, you can make them into the perfect favor by printing the date and the bride and groom's names on them!

Lovel-ly Burlap Sign

via etsy.com

Burlap seems to be the new fall wedding trend. Wheather you're using it for your centerpiece or a punny sign, it brings great rustic feel to your autumn wedding.

Orange Bouquet

via simplyyou.com

What's a wedding without flowers? I love this bouquet, not only because my favorite flowers are sunflowers, but also because the colors perfectly embody fall. They match any theme for the season!

Pumpkin Seed Favors

via blog.weddingwire.com

As I mentioned, pumpkins are the go-to decor for autumn weddings, so why not package up the tasty part and let your guests take them home. Try them sweet or salty, or let your guests decide and make both!

Cranberry Apple Cider

via naomicakes.com

Another festive way to keep your guest warm is this pretty Cranberry Apple Cider from Naomi Cakes. It would make for a perfect signature drink at your reception, especially if you serve it spiked

Asile Decor

via brides.com

Another addition of foliage to the wedding that I think would be perfect! Send your flower girl down the aisle with beautiful fall-colored petals, or opt for leaves instead!

Leaf-Filled Candle Votives

via colincowieweddings.com

Super simple and stunning. I love candles at weddings, and these are cheap, you just have to head outside and collect some leaves. Whether you use them as centerpieces or added light around the reception, they are sure to be a hit.

Bark Seating Assignments

via stylemepretty.com

Another great seating card idea. Cut slits into a thick branch creating a card holder. You can even have guests write you special notes and place them back into the empty spots after they find their seats!

Pink Bouquets

via huffingtonpost.com

You don't have to stick to reds and oranges for your fall bouquets. Blue is also a popular color in the fall, and these go great with every shade! Navy anyone?
