Fun Fruit Scenes: Creative Ways to Serve Fruit Salad

Who says you can’t play with your food? Add a touch of fun to your plate by creating cute, colorful scenes out of your favorite fruit!

Whether you’re looking for an activity to do with the kids or need a piece of edible décor for your summertime bash, these fruit scenes will surely put a smile on everyone’s face and give fruit a fun new look.

Fruit Rainbow:

There are so many options for each color!

Red: strawberries, red raspberries, watermelon

Orange: oranges, cantaloupe, peaches, clementines, mango

Yellow: bananas, pineapple, golden delicious apple slices

Green: green grapes, kiwi slices, honeydew melon

Blue: blueberries, concord grapes

Indigo: blackberries, black grapes

Violet: red grapes

On a platter, assemble the fruit from red to violet in the shape of a rainbow. You can create the clouds using cool whip, mini marshmallows, or even banana slices.

Palm Trees:

Feeling tropical? Create a palm tree scene! Chop up a banana for the tree stump, a kiwi for the palm leaves, and add orange slices or clementines to the bottom to create sand.

Bonus: add blueberries to depict the ocean.

Fruit Cones:

Cones aren’t only for ice cream – fill waffle cones with your favorite fruit to create fruit cones. For added fun you can line the cones with something sweet like chocolate syrup or caramel, you can even top your cones! Have a toppings bar ready for guests to choose their favorites like Nutella, cool whip, coconut flakes, candy, the options are endless!

Short on Time? Pick up a Fruit Bouquet

Love the idea of a fun fruit decoration, but don't have the time or patience to pull off one of these sweet scenes? Simply order a fruit bouquet that's ready to show off and fits your theme. Show it off as a centerpiece or as the focal point of your dessert spread.
