You Won't Believe What This Life-Sized Elephant Sculpture is Made Out Of

Remember when you would make little origami birds and frogs in elementary school? Yeah, this elephant is like that except 10 million times bigger, better, cooler and more impressive. 


Origami artist Sipho Mabona created a mind-blowing life-sized elephant, made entirely out of paper. But not just any knd of paper -- this giant sculpture was crafted from one piece of paper. One 50-foot-by-50-foot piece of paper.

We're celebrating Sipho for making his vision a reality! Last year, he asked for funds to crowd-source this project on Indiegogo, and some haters scoffed at the notion of paying for someone else's origami. Now, this impressive sculpture stands at the KKLB in Switzerland. Who's laughing, now?
