Ginger Zee Wedding: Beautiful Reception Details

Reuse and recycle are not things you would normally think about doing at your wedding reception, but why not? Reusing floral balls is the easiest way to tie together everything from your wedding reception to the next mornings farewell breakfast.

A long table was used to create a grand but intimate feel. The bride and groom sat center with chair covers on chairs that I had designed and monogrammed reflecting a personal story with key and lock logos. The same chair covers where constructed with zippers at the base to later be used as pillow covers as home decor/ keepsakes from the days event.

The table was lined in white rose petals in the center and various size floral balls (paves') made of white carnations, button mums and spray roses arranged in groupings, flanked by votive's. Since ginger is a meteorologist, these floral balls resembled both clouds and snow balls, perfect and easy summer or winter wedding florals!

I try not to use vases as much as possible, I like the liberating feel of multi using & in some cases troubleshooting and changing the design concept at a moments notice in my tablescapes... Plus no worry of finger prints!

Later I used these same floral balls outdoors on the stairs for late night ambiance. I love to reuse floral later in the night or for next days farewell breakfast, so that we get more bang of our buck, and nothing goes to waste!

The cake was displayed on a vintage silver cake stand adding height, rested on wine barrel. Adding once again, a personal touch and charm!
