Hangover Cure New Year's Eve Party Favors

Crack open the new year with festive party gifts your guests will definitely appreciate after a night of celebrating.

Like Christmas crackers in appearance, these New Year’s Eve party favors are simple to make and offer a stunning continuation of the retro modern color theme of this New Year’s Eve party. Packed with essentials for the morning after the night before, these party favors are a great way for your guests to start the new year off on the right foot, without having to skip out on the midnight fun.

I filled my crackers with coffee, however if space would have allowed, I would have added Aspirin, hand cream, lip balm and a festive new year wish. So many great things to place in these crackers...the contents of your favors are up to you and the possibilities are endless.

  • 1 Paper tube (use a toilet paper one, or cut a paper towel one in half)

  • 1 Sheet of hard card stock
  • Crafting Glue
  • Gifts
  • Ribbon
  • Scissors
  • (Optional) Stickers to decorate

Step 1: Fill the paper tube with your gifts and then place in the center of the card stock. If you have smaller items that make it harder to do the wrapping, consider jumping to step 2 and step 3 to secure one end, fill then close off the second end.

Step 2: Drizzle glue around the tube and then carefully wrap the card stock over the tube to completely cover it in stock. Try to avoid getting any bubbles by painting your glue on and firmly pressing when rolling in the paper.

Step 3: Once the glue is dry, squeeze the ends and then tie ribbon around the ends to secure it in place.

Step 4: (Optional) Decorate with festive stickers, glitter or other artistic embellishments to tie it to your theme. You can add little messages with positive sayings for the new year or even string beads to the ribbon ties for added glitz!
