Skip the Pastels: Host a Bold & Colorful Easter Brunch

We’re used to the usual color scheme for Easter: pastel pinks and yellows, soft greens and blues. And we love it! But this year, we’re ready to shake things up! We’re drawing inspiration from these beautiful kaleidoscope roses from 1800Flowers. We love the beautiful purples and yellows in this arrangement! Check out our advice on how to throw a beautiful, bright Easter brunch.

Try a White Backdrop

To keep the table settings at the center of everyone’s attention, try a white or pearl-colored tablecloth. You can keep things interesting with brightly colored plates and cups! Plus, with those beautiful roses in the center of the table, you won’t need a decorative tablecloth!

Solids are Key

Try keeping each table setting one solid color! You can do an ombré theme for each: try a light charger, a bright plate, and dark appetizer plate! That way, each setting can reflect one of the beautiful rose colors! Purple, yellow, and blue will all look lovely on your table!

Have your Placecards Fit the Theme

Boring Easter eggs won’t do on this beautiful table! Try out some easy, bright, Easter cutouts (Could our contributors work on a craft???). They’ll bring something personal and creative to your table that your guests will love!

Include some Bright Beverages

A bright bar is another easy way to subtly stick to your theme! Opt for some big batches of bright punch, like this sherbert punch with peep straws! And for adults, keep it simple with a DIY bellini bar. These drinks will keep brightness in the air, and help keep everyone lively!

For Simple Table Décor, Opt for Even More Crafts

You can definitely keep the creative train going without sacrificing your table theme! Try marbleizing or tie-dyeing your eggs with beautiful kaleidoscope colors and filling clear, differently-sized vases with them! You can put them on your dessert table, on your mantel, or anywhere around the house!
