Six-Figure Bashes: The Most Lavish Celebrity Kids Birthday Parties Ever

Oh, you had a pinata and some treat bags from the dollar store at your 6th birthday party? LOL, LOL.

Celebrities —  they're just like us! Except they do everything bigger, better, fancier and way more expensive. Take their kids' birthday parties, for example.

Everybody knows kids would be just as happy with a pinata and delivery pizza for their birthday party as they would living butterflies and a custom-built playhouse. But celebrities throw their kids lavish birthday parties to take amazing Instagram pics and one-up their neighbors.  Which ultimately means that they are doing this for our enjoyment.

Thanks to the joys of social media and personal blogs, we can peek inside this mysterious world of celeb birthday parties. And here's a fun fact: These parties probably cost more than your wedding. And they get one every year. Take a look at some of the most lavish ones we've seen.

Suri Cruise's $100,000 Bash

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes allegedly spent $100,000 on Suri's second birthday party, because of course they did. Some of the expenses? Fresh flowers, real butterflies and catering from Wolfgang Puck, according to the New York Daily News.

Blue Ivy Carter Gets a Horse?

Blue enjoyed a big celeb-filled bash on her second birthday. Typical childhood party events included face painting and balloon animals. Atypical party events included renting out an entire Animal Sanctuary to enjoy, and possibly a horse as a gift (the report from TMZ was never confirmed... or denied).

Stella McDermott's First Birthday

Before Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott aired their dirty laundry via dramatic docu-series, they were a happy Hollywood couple who spared no expense when it came to their daughter Stella's first birthday party. The Lady Bug-themed bash came complete with a live performance of the kids music group The Jumpitz, and gift bags worth a reported $2,500, according to People

Kingston Rossdale

With Gwen Stafani and Gavin Rossdale as parents, it's no surprise Kingston partied like a rockstar on his fourth birthday. The famous parents spent a reported $15,000 on the event for fabulous perks such as a cotton candy machnine, lemonade stand, and a lavish food spread.

Mason Disick's Circus Carnival

Kris Jenner's first grandchild was treated like a little prince at his first birthday party. Kourtney Kardashian threw a big party at her momager's house with a circus carnival theme. Attractions included a petting zoo, a train set and a carousel! Memories Mason will have for a lifetime (oh, wait...).

Brooklyn Beckham's $187,000 Custom Playhouse

Posh Spice knows how to throw a posh birthday party. Victoria and David Beckham celebrated their son Brooklyn's sixth birthday with perhaps the most expensive birthday party to date. They reportedly spent $187,000 on a custom-built playhouse, according to Style List. That's right, a playhouse that cost more than most real houses. Let that sink in.
