Make a Cool Summer Koozie

We love the idea of making a personalized koozie for summer party guests. It’s a fun craft the kids will enjoy, and friends will appreciate the gift all summer long.

Check out this easy how-to and get crafting for a fun party embellishment and favor.

We made our koozie for a pool party with the girls, but this idea is great for a Father’s Day gift as well! Dad will enjoy a personalized koozie to keep his beers chilled.

  • 1" Glue Lines®
  • Craft Glue Dots®
  • Mini Glue Dots®
  • Foam Koozie
  • 12" fringe trim
  • 4 flowers cut from the fringe trim
  • Acrylic stones, buttons or foam shapes
  • Sharpie
  • Scissors

Cut trim to fit around the outside of the Koozie.

Place 1" Glue Lines close to the top of the Koozie and secure the trim.

Secure one flower where the trim meets using Craft Glue Dots. Secure the remaining flowers on top of the trim. (You can use any embellishments you’d like!)

Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere stones to the center of the flowers.

Add a name with a Sharpie.
