Moss Covered Letter Wreath With Spring Floral Butterflies

Adorn your door with a butterfly moss wreath, the perfect spring décor!

I made a miniature 8 inch monogram wreath, but larger paper mache letters would look just as pretty. Don’t forget to pick up a few packs of moss sheets for the larger wreaths. Floral sheets can be found at your local craft store in the floral section or online.

This moss wreath would be perfect for a woodland themed party or nursery! Or simply hang it on your front door for a simple way to add a dash of spring feeling to your home.

If you opt for a miniature wreath like I did, why not create a mini monogram wreath for the children’s bedrooms using the first letter of their names? Since the butterflies are decorative, they can even be given as gifts so your friends can have a touch of Springtime glory in their homes, too.

  • Moss Sheet
  • Paper Mache Letter
  • Floral Butterflies
  • Scissors
  • Hot Glue
  • Jute

Step 1: Cut off small pieces of moss and hot glue to the paper mache letter until the front and sides of the letter are completely covered. Make sure there are no gaps in between the moss so the paper mache can’t be seen.

Step 2: Hot glue floral butterflies around the moss covered letter.

Step 3: Hot glue a piece of jute to the back of the moss covered letter to use for hanging purposes.
