Paper Heart Roses

While they may not smell as nice, these paper heart red roses are just as pretty as a live bouquet and will definitely last longer than the fresh ones.


Create some paper roses for your Valentine this year for a gift that won't ever wilt or fall apart!

Supplies

Scrapbook or construction paper
Heart punch or scissors
Floral plant stakes
Hot glue
Flowerpot
Styrofoam
Moss

Directions

Step 1: Punch or cut several hearts of identical size

Step 2: Wrap one heart around your finger to curl it.

Step 3: Add a dab of glue to the inside/bottom area of the heart and adhere to your stake

Step 4: Continue to curl hearts, dab glue and add them to your stake in concentric circles

Step 5: Continue until you have filled out your rose...

Step 6: Wedge your styrofoam into your pot and glue the moss over the styrofoam to cover it.

Step 7: Arrange your roses and add a coordinating ribbon.
