Paper Ornament Garland

Christmas time is finally here, my favorite time of year to craft! Grab a cub of hot chocolate, snack on some candy CANE GRAHAM CRACKER BARK and get out the craft supplies!

Just a few supplies are needed to make a beautiful paper ornament garland. I bet you already have most of the supplies in your crafting stash. This craft is perfect for a beginner crafter and the end result is well worth the handmade effort.

You can trim your tree with this garland or hang it on a fireplace mantel. Switch up the cardstock colors and you could use this garland for a birthday party or other holidays. It would look amazing strung across a room or over an entryway. I plan on using it for an upcoming holiday party over the snack table. Check out my Christmas bunting tutorial for another garland project idea.

Supplies:

Cardstock

2 inch Circle Punch

Craft Glue or Hot Glue

Jute or String

Directions:

Step 1: Using a 2 inch circle punch, punch out 10 circles out of cardstock per ornament.

Step 2: Fold paper circles in half and glue together forming a ball.

Step 3: Before attaching the last circle, glue the ball around a piece of jute or string.

Step 4: Repeat steps 1-3, gluing balls a few inches apart, until you have your desired length of garland.

Step 5: Hang and enjoy!
