Pink and Blue Drink Ideas for a Baby Gender Reveal Party

Serve pink and blue beverages at a Gender Reveal Party to build anticipation for the big reveal!

For our gender reveal party we went with the pink and blue color combo on our invitations to inspire everything from our decor to our party menu. A buffet table, complete with lots of pink and blue drinks, was staged in one corner of the room so that guests might serve themselves whenever their thirst needed to be quenched.

Since this was a laid back, casual party where guests were purely close friends and family, we didn't want to go too crazy with fancy details. Anything extra, we felt, would distract from the reason we were celebrating.

That being said, one thing that we believe makes any party stand out from the rest is creating a specialty drink. Typically, parties at home with such intimate guests will usually just feature a selection of soda and water, but why stop there? It doesn't require any extra work to customize a drink!

In keeping with the blue and pink theme, we thought it would be fun to create 2 types of lemonade, each inspired by the respective teams – pink lemonade for the girls and a blue raspberry for the boys.

Creating the above pink and blue drinks was SUPER simple. We simply picked up pink and blue lemonade mixes from the grocery store and mixed them according to the package directions. To give them added flair, however, we served them in mason jars with colorful paper straws. It'd also be fun to pop in fresh berries or lemon slices for an easy, yet chic garnish.

If lemonade isn't quite your drink of choice, try making whatever is your favorite sip into a pink and blue version of itself. Simply add blue or pink food coloring to it like we did here. A classic milkshake gets a blue makeover with just a few drops of food coloring!

We kept our menu full of mocktails since there were lots of kiddies around and to make our mama-to-be feel like better, however, you can serve one of these yummy drinks to your gender reveal party guests - or take out the alcohol in them!

The strawberry cosmo is one of the easiest cocktails to turn into a mocktail, but still retains that great pink hue we love. Simply replace the vodka with a mix of freshly squeezed lemon juice and club soda. To get the same pink color without the cointreau you can add a dash of strawberry fruit juice.
