12 Things We Learned From Prince George's First 12 Months

It's hard to believe our favorite little prince is already turning one! It seems like only yesterday we were gathered around our computer screens and TVs waiting with baited breath for Kate Middleton and Prince William to emerge from the hospital and reveal their gorgeous baby boy.

Even though time has flown, a lot has happened in a year. Prince George went from a bundled up newborn in his mom's arms, to a curious infant grabbing at stuffed animals and chewing on his mom's hair. We're obsessed with the littlest royal's chubby cheeks, cute tuft of hair and big brown eyes. We can't wait to watch him grow up, but in the meantime, here are some things we learned from the next heir to the throne over the last year.

1. Kate Middleton's hair smells really nice.

... and apparenrtly feels and tastes good, too.

2. White lace looks good on everyone.

... especially for formal occasions.

3. Always have a healthy respect & curiousity for wildlife.

Appreciate your fellow animals!

4. When the weather is chilly, it's totally fine to wear both a sweater and shorts.

If you can't decide on dressing for summer or winter, rock a mix of both.

5. Overalls are definitely back in style.

Shorts look great for summer.

6. Men can (and should) wear pink.

And totally rock it.

7. Plant-based foods are a staple for a healthy diet.

Although paper should probably be consumed in moderation.

8. Sharing is caring.

Even when you're a prince, you shouldn't be selfish!

9. It's best to stay calm, cool and collected when someone makes a scene in public.

(But it's probably better not to stare).

10. It's important to keep up appearances, espeically at work.

And if you're a prince, you should really take that title seriously!

11. But don't forget to unwind with playtime, too.

Even the busiest of schedules have room for some fun.

12. And never underestimate the power of nap time.

Any time, any place. Sleep is important!
