Say Thank You With a Breakfast Basket

A great way to say thank you to someone special is to create a Breakfast Basket for them. Breakfast items are popular, easy to pack, and it makes such a nice treat for someone you appreciate.

I baked homemade butterscotch scones and wrapped them in parchment paper.  You may want to do some digging and get the 411 on the giftee’s favorite breakfast food and flavors. You can never go wrong with blueberry or chocolate chip, but be wary when dealing with flavors that are more of an acquired taster.

A polka-dot ribbon band and a little baker's twine around the parchment paper package turned these treats into a lovely gift! I tucked them in a fabric-lined basket beside a jar of homemade pomegranate jelly and a bag of freshly ground coffee, and breakfast is ready. Consider packing a set or two of disposable utensils in your basket, as well. Roll them up in a napkin for easy clean up and tie it together using a festive ribbon – cute and convenient!

To make the basket look bright and cheery, I coordinated the polka-dot ribbon with some striped paper napkins, and a little silk flower. It's a great way to say thank-you, and a great way to start the day!

I made a little homemade thank-you tag to tie to the handle of the basket, and my gift of appreciation was ready for delivery
