Simple Centerpieces

Intricate centerpieces dripping in pearls, bright flowers, and elegant candles are nice, but those dramatic centerpieces don't always suit the occasion. When hosting a more casual or intimate affair, keep the centerpieces simple!

You want the decorations to be just enough to set the theme or give your party flavor, without making it difficult to communicate with the person sitting across from you.

These simple centerpieces are not only smaller in size, but they require very few supplies and even less time and effort. Of course, when you use less materials that means you must use more of your imagination. I think it's the simplicity of these centerpieces that makes them spectacular.

Use the individual petals of one gerbera daisy to create graphic versions of the real thing. Then, place a tea light in the center to complete the look. Yes, it's that easy! Make multiple designs and arrange on a simple platter to create an easy summer centerpiece.

Keep your centerpieces simple and fun - with daisies and pops of color.

It's easy to make this arrangement work for the style of your affair. You can change the color of the base, petals, or candles. Get creative (while staying simple)!

You can also take one gerbera and cut the stem off at the base of the flower and put it in a wine glass along with a tea light for a fun individual place setting or to accent a buffet spread. Use a heavy duty glass to avoid burning yourself or the glass.

Another idea is to use multiples in varying sizes and shapes for a unique table scape that's simple and stunning! We recommend sticking to a color scheme as to not overdo the look. Throw in a few neutral colors like white or beige to break the monotony when using different shades of the same color.

Did you ever hear the expression "Keep It Simple Stupid"? Well I prefer to say "Keep It Simple Silly", but that's beside the point.

I created these centerpieces using one (yes, that's right, only one) gerbera daisy and a couple of tea lights! Did you ever think that you could actually make a centerpiece using just one flower?
