Super Bowl Proposition Betting Game + FREE Printable

Take your Super Bowl the the next level with a little game of proposition betting. Download our game board and get ready for some football fun!

From fantastic football finger foods to beer on tap to the Super Bowl party games with friends, Super Bowl Sunday promises a whole lot more fun than some people might even realize.

So often at Super Bowl parties you'll have a real mix of fervent fans and friends who tag along for the food, fun and booze. That latter group isn't always as eager to settle down and watch the game, but there is a way to pique their interest.

To get everyone excited to watch the actual game, we recommend a little friendly Super Bowl party game for proposition betting.

What Exactly is Proposition Betting?

Prop betting sounds really fancy, but it's really just guessing what will or won't happen during the Super Bowl game, based on common events. The bets can be related to the actual football game, or the pageantry surrounding it (think: the halftime show, the National Anthem, etc.).

You can bet on anything you want; nothing is too silly! What color will the Gatorade be that is dumped on the winning team's coach? Will the National Anthem run longer than 2 minutes? etc.

You can certainly create your own questions for you and your friends, but we got the party started and made our own list of prop bets below! This printable makes it easy to play along; be sure to have enough copies for each person playing, since each participant fills out his or her own sheet.

What's great about prop betting is that it gets everyone engaged, interested and interactive with the game.

So, what are you waiting for? Click the picture above and print out as many of these prop betting sheets as you'll have guests and get betting.

How to Make Prop Bets:

Start by printing out a sheet of prop bets for each person at the party. Have a set buy-in for everyone playing. Depending on how many players you have, set a reasonable ante that everyone will be okay with but that's large enough to make it enticing. Generally, for a party of 10 people we try to get $20 - this way the pot is $200 for whoever wins.

Make your guesses before the game starts – in pen! Then, keep score as the game progresses (don't cheat!). At the end of the game, whoever has guessed the most correct answers properly (just tally it up), wins. A tie means the two winners split. Have fun with your guests and enjoy betting on your next Super Bowl!
