Touchdown Décor for Your Super Bowl 50 Celebration

Time to rep your team! If there’s any time to go all-out with team colors, it’s this year: the 50th Super Bowl is quickly approaching! We’ve got all of the DIY tutorials, decorating tips, and fun products that you’ll need to put together a milestone party for a such a momentous occasion.

Decorating for a Super Bowl party is a great way to get everyone around you into the spirit. This year, we’ve got an interesting color scheme: navy and orange for the Denver Broncos, and black, blue, and silver for the Carolina Panthers. Whether you’re into the Broncos, the Panthers, or you’re impartial, we’ve got some ways to incorporate team spirit and make your Super Bowl celebration a touchdown!

For Big Decorations, Don’t Pick a Side

Like we mentioned, we have an interesting color scheme to work with for Super Bowl 50. If you’re worried about finding items in all of those colors and making your house look too congested, try a different approach. The actual event--Super Bowl 50--has its own color scheme: black and gold! Get some black table cloths, Super Bowl 50-logo’ed banners, and you’re all set! Check out some amazing (and inexpensive) supplies from Party City here!

Show your Allegiance in the Details

Now that you’ve got your bigger decorations down, focus on the details! Try some fun splashes of team colors throughout the room. You can try small Broncos and Panthers wall decals and flags and some mixed silverware and tableware. These cute straws from Aardvark Straws are the perfect example of little details you can use to enhance your décor! They come in a combo pack, featuring both team logos and the Super Bowl 50 logo!

Style your Food

Of course, Super Bowl parties are all about the food. Displaying your food in a festive way is important for any party! Dress your drinks with some festive koozies; you can set the bottled beers up as Broncos, and the cans up as Panthers! They’ll bring the perfect amount of detail to your football fest. Use football themed displays for snacks and desserts, like these logo tins from The Popcorn Factory and this football box from Cheryl’s! Check out some other ways to DIY cool beer displays (including a football field cooler) here!

Stick to Easy, Festive DIYs

The key to a good party is to have your DIYs fit the bill! The Super Bowl is no time for intricate bunting and time-consuming décor! Try decorations so easy that you’ll be able to set up during the pregame! Think stickers, decals, and more. One super easy way to decorate would be to print themed betting boxes! Use them as table display!  Here are some more examples of what we mean: stress-free, mess-free ways to take your party to the next level.

If you want to have one wild, fun decoration that combines all of the Super Bowl colors, check out the how-to for this tassel banner. Customize it with black, silver, blue, and orange! This is a great banner to hang over your food table or near your door! For more easy DIYs, click here
