Candy Cane Graham Cracker Bark

This candy cane graham cracker bark recipe is the perfect holiday gift for neighbors or co-workers. It’s an easy treat to make and the crushed candy canes give it a festive touch. Package in parchment paper, tied with baker’s twine and deliver to your recipients, they will love you!

I like making this recipe for holiday parties because it’s something you can make a couple days ahead of time, which saves on prep time the day of the party.

You could use dark chocolate instead of white if you prefer or use both, dipping half the graham cracker in white and the other half in dark.  You could also top the chocolate covered graham crackers with nuts or sprinkles. Whatever chocolate or toppings you decide on, it’s sure to be delicious! Save your left over graham crackers and candy canes to make miniature graham cracker gingerbread houses.

Ingredients
  • Graham Crackers
  • White Chocolate Chips
  • Candy Canes
  • Parchment Paper
Directions

First, crush the candy canes in a food processor. You could also place them in a freezer bag and crush them using a rolling pin if you prefer chunkier pieces.

Next, melt the white chocolate chips according to package instructions. I recommend placing chips in a microwave safe bowl and heating for 30 second increments, mixing in between, until smoothly melted. Be cautious of over-melting the chocolate or it will not properly stick to the graham cracker.

Break your graham crackers in half. Using a fork, dip the graham crackers in your melted chocolate until they are fully covered. Gently tap off the excess chocolate and place on the parchment paper.

Sprinkle your crushed candy canes over the chocolate covered graham crackers before the chocolate melts.

Allow chocolate to harden and then enjoy!
