Chocolate Dipped Kiwis

Kiwis are not a fruit you see incorporated into desserts often. They’re so tangy and sweet that people don’t like to bake with them too much.


Instead of baking with them I decided to go more natural and just mix them with a little bit of chocolate.  Simply dip the kiwis in some chocolate and you’ve got yourself a tasty little treat.

Ingredients:

3 Kiwis, Peeled and Sliced into Discs

3/4 cup Chocolate, Melted

Directions:

Carefully dip the kiwis into the melted chocolate. Place the kiwis on parchment paper or wax paper to harden. Don’t touch or move the kiwis until the chocolate has completely hardened. You can also place the kiwis in the freezer to speed up the process.  Serve and enjoy!

These can be made in advance, just be sure to keep the dipped kiwis in a cool area, preferably the refrigerator.
