Chocolate Drizzled Dessert Kebab

If you think skewers are reserved for meat kabobs, think again! The magic of anything on a stick is something we at Celebrations can’t get enough of, and these strawberry donut kabobs are sure to please the hands and taste buds of all guests.

Don't foods on a stick just scream party time?! The combination of fruit and donut make for a treat your guests will only feel half as guilty about!

Ingredients

Fresh strawberries

Donut holes

1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

2 tablespoons butter

Directions

Alternately thread the fresh berries and donut holes onto long wooden skewers.

Place on a wax-paper lined tray.

Melt the semi-sweet chocolate and butter over low

Place in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes to allow the chocolate to set up.

I added a nautical flag to the top of each skewer with a 1 3/4-inch blue and white striped grosgrain ribbon.  I laid the skewer on top of the ribbon and applied a bit of hot glue to hold the skewer in place, then folded the ends of the ribbon together.

More Great Ideas on a Stick!

Toss the shot glass and opt for a fruiter way to get your drink on. These fruit cocktails on a stick may look like your run of the mill fruit, but they pack a punch of boozy flavor as they have been infused with tequila. Party on!

For a more kid-friendly option, these milk and cookies on a stick are a sweet treat that your guests won't be able to resist. The best part? Just bite and toss for an easy cleanup.
