Frozen Peanut Butter Banana Bites

Ice cream is a wonderful sweet treat that will cool you off during a hot summer day. However, if you are looking for a yummy cool alternative these chocolate peanut butter banana bites will surely do the trick!


I absoultely love this recipe because it is simple and only uses 4 ingredients! There is also no baking involved. If you want to wow your guests you can make this yummy treat for a summer gathering. Just make sure to keep them frozen!

Ingredients
  • 2 large bananas
  • 1/4 cup of natural peanut butter
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips
  • 4 tbsp of milk
Directions

Line a cookie sheet with wax paper. Slice bananas into about 1/2 inch thick pieces. Spread a dollop of peanut butter on top of each banana slice.

In a bowl, combine the chocolate chips and milk. Microwave chocolate and milk mix until it melts- about 20 to 30 seconds. Whisk together. Add another splash of milk if needed. Dip the banana chunks into the melted chocolate.

I used a fork to place the slices into the chocolate mix and then used a spoon to delicately spread the chocolate around the banana slices.

Place the chocolate coated bananas on the prepared sheet and put in the freezer until completely frozen (3-5 hours).

Remove frozen banana chunks from the freezer and store in a freezer container. Enjoy this cool and yummy treat!
