Gluten-Free Garlic Green Beans Recipe

Green bean casserole was always a staple in my childhood Thanksgiving feasts. Many people are now eating gluten-free, so I've update the recipe accordingly to please all the health habits of my guests.

Having a dish sauté on the stove rather than baking it on the oven frees up room in the oven to get dinner out on time. Serve alongside our Gluten Free andouille Sausage Stuffing for a hearty pairing.

  • 1 pound green beans, ends trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted

Melt butter in a frying/sauté pan over medium-low heat. Add green beans, garlic and salt and sauté until beans are cooked through, but still crispy - about 7 minutes.

Remove from heat. Stir in sliced almonds and serve.
