Grilled Alaskan Salmon Recipe

Summertime means grilling outside as much as possible! I love making burgers and steak on the outdoor grill but sometimes those dinners can feel a little to heavy for a hot summer night.

Recently I whipped up this grilled Alaskan salmon that is so light and delicious. Enjoy the outdoors by grilling this delectable dish with friends and family and impress your guests with all the flavor! 

Grilled Alaskan Salmon


1 lb Alaskan Salmon

3 tbsp lemon juice

2 oz Teriyaki Sauce 




Place salmon on a plate and spinkle with salt and pepper. I love a lot of salt and pepper so I was very generous-- feel free to use as much or as little as  you want. Place salmon in plastic bag, add the teriyaki sauce and your lemon juice and marinate for 2 hours.

Heat grill to 450 degrees. Place your salmon on the grill skin side up and grill for 5 minutes. Flip salmon and grill skin side down for about 6 minutues. Remove from grill and brush with leftover marinade. I also squeezed a bit more lemon on top right before serving. 

Note: This dish pairs well with grilled asparagus!
