Homemade Snickers Frozen Fudge Pop

Add a little pizazz to your ice cream desserts with this ooey gooey homemade snickers frozen fudge pop recipe! A frozen fudge pop - better known as a Fudgesicle - is a classic ice cream dessert that has been around for a long time. I’ve truly been eating them for as long as I can remember!

But to make this traditional dessert a bit more unique, I decided to make them from scratch, adding in some Snickers candy pieces in the process.

Making these frozen treats at home is really much easier than you would think - all you need are a few simple ingredients. And if you don’t like Snickers or want to switch it up, feel free to add any type of candy into this recipe. Oreos, Kit Kats, Butterfingers, or Rolos would all be delicious, too!

These last up to two weeks in the freezer, and are best kept individually wrapped in foil or plastic wrap.

1/2 cup sugar

2 tablespoons cornstarch

2 tablespoons cocoa powder

2 cups whole milk

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

2 Snickers Bars, cut into small pieces

Special Equipment Needed:

Popsicle mold

4 popsicle sticks (if your mold doesn’t come with sticks)

In a small saucepan, stir together the sugar, cornstarch, cocoa powder, and milk. Place the pan over medium heat and whisk constantly until the mixture thickens, about 10-15 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the vanilla and butter.

Place some of the Snickers pieces into the bottom of each mold.

Pour the mixture halfway into the mold; then, add more Snickers pieces. Finish filling the mold and carefully place the mold into the freezer. If your mold doesn’t have sticks, place a popsicle stick into the center of each mold after 10 minutes of in the freezer. Allow the popsicles to freeze until firm, at least 4 hours (but preferably overnight).
