Honey Glazed Cheese Wheel Appetizer

The excitement of the holidays brings about a whirlwind of decking the halls, fa-la-la-ing, and best of all, plenty of festive cocktail parties!

But, on top of trimming the tree and picking out gifts for everyone on your list, it’s hard to find time to also make a homemade appetizer. Enter: the honey glazed cheese wheel.

The best thing about this appetizer is that it offers a “wow factor” you’ll be proud of, but requires very little assembly time. Top the brie with sweet honey and crunchy nuts to create a special and well-put-together presentation. And don’t worry -- no one has to know it took less than 10 minutes to make!


  • A wheel or round of cheese (Le Rustique Camembert or any Brie works well)
  • Honey
  • 1/2 cup raw or candied nuts such as pecans & walnuts
  • Crackers on the side for serving

Place cheese wheel onto an oven or microwave safe plate (Le Rustique’s red & white package provides a great and festive presentation).

Pour desired amount of honey on top of cheese wheel.

Top with mixed nut mixture

Bake at 350* for 8 minutes (or microwave for 15 seconds) until cheese is soft & just starts to melt.

Serve with crackers on the side.
