Hot Pumpkin Pie Cocktail

Is there anything better than Pumpkin Pie in autumn? It’s my very favorite flavor during my favorite time of year! I love having a slice of delicious pumpkin pie – with whipped cream, of course – on a crisp autumn day.  Pie is wonderful, but made into cocktail form? Now that’s a fall miracle!


Adding some rum or whiskey to a cocktail is all well and good for fall, but to really embody the best tastes of autumn, this cocktail hits the spot. It's warm, just like a piece of fresh homemade pumpkin pie, and tastes like your favorite autumn dessert!

I made this Hot Pumpkin Pie Cocktail this weekend and everyone loved it! It's comfort food in a glass. It makes me think of Thanksgiving, and family get-togethers, and everything else I love about fall, all while I sip it. I hope you love it as much as I do!

 

 

Ingredients
  • 4 cups Almond milk (or regular milk)
  • 2 cups Cinnamon Vanilla Baileys Irish Cream
  • 1/2 cup vanilla or pumpkin pie vodka (I couldn’t find the pumpkin pie vodka, so I used vanilla instead. Either would work!)
  • 1 can pumpkin puree (not to be confused with pumpkin pie filling)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie pisce
  • Cool Whip or another whipped cream topping

Directions

Bring the almond milk, Irish cream, and vodka to a boil in a large pot

Once boiling, turn down heat to low and stir in pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice. Stir quickly to incorporate.

 

 

Serve warm, topped with cool whip or whipped cream, and garnish with a little more pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon.
