Nutella Filled Graduation Diploma Treats

Getting your diploma is one of the biggest personal achievements in life - and definitely a cause to celebrate!

In honor of this triumph, I’ve created a simple and tasty dessert to emulate the look of a diploma. All you need are three simple ingredients – puff pastry, Nutella, and Sour Candy Belts. With a quick visit to the store and a few minutes at home, you’ll have a tasty graduation dessert recipe that's perfect for any graduation party, whether you're a little tyke or a big college grad.

  • 1 Package (2 Squares) Puffed Pastry, Thawed
  • Nutella
  • Sour Candy Belts, cut into 5-inch thin stripes (or any type of thin, long candy)

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside until needed.

Lay out your puff pastry and spread a thin layer of Nutella over the entire surface of both squares of puff pastry. Cut each square into thirds horizontally (you will have 3 long rectangles). Next, tightly roll each rectangle up and then cut in half, creating 12 Nutella filled diploma pastries total.

Place the diplomas on the prepared baking sheet, seam side down, and bake until they turn a light golden brown - about 7 minutes.

Allow the diplomas to cool on the baking sheet until completely cooled. Once cooled, tie a sour belt around each diploma.

Serve immediately! These are best eaten the same day.

Makes: About 12 mini diplomas
