Orange Creamsicle Pina Colada Recipe

One way to make your pool party extra special is to serve your own specialty cocktail. And this Orange Creamsicle Piña Colada is light and refreshing, making it perfect to enjoy on a hot, summer day.

In order to make this Piña Colada, all you need is pineapple, coconut milk, orange sherbet, and rum. But if you want to make these drinks virgin, all you do is omit the rum. No need to add any other substitutions; just follow the directions exactly as written. Honestly, I love the virgin version of these. It’s just as refreshing and creamy!

Ingredients:

1 20-ounce can pineapple chunks

1 13.5-ounce can coconut milk

2 1/2 cups orange sherbet

1/2 cup rum (more or less, depending on your taste level)

Ice, if needed

Cocktail umbrellas (for decoration)

Directions:

Place all the ingredients—pineapple, coconut milk, orange sherbet, and rum— into a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too runny and isn’t thick enough, add a small handful of ice, and blend again until the mixture is smooth. Pour the piña colada into cups and place a cocktail umbrella into each cup. Serve immediately.

Note: These are best served cold. Keep the piña colada in a large pitcher over ice and serve as needed.

Serves:

About 5-7, depending on the size of your cups (makes almost 1 liter)
