Peppermint White Chocolate with a Festive Chocolate-Dipped Marshmallow

This is my favorite holiday beverage to serve at parties. Whip up a batch for a crowd and present it in a round chafer with a ladle for guests to help themselves. Serve with chocolate-dipped marshmallows decorated with Christmas sprinkles for the ultimate celebration in cup.

Peppermint is a popular ingredient during the holiday season, but it can sometimes be a little too overpowering for some. This mixture still emobdies the peppermint flavor, without being purely peppermint.

We especially love the use of the chocolate dipped marshmallow with this festive sip. Come summertime, marshmallows are the "it" treat, but the rest of the seasons show no love for this gooey snack. And we believe that's just plain wrong!

Marshmallows should be a part of every season's traditional menu, and you can bet we'll be serving up these chocolate dipped marshmallows with almost all of our holiday drinks.

And the best part of this drink? It's a delicious holiday sip that will warm your insides and your outsides! Can be enjoyed outside on the snowy deck or inside in your heated home. Just add the perfect holiday soundtrack , a handful of your closest family and friends, and a few tasty holiday desserts for that perfect winter evening you'll be reminiscing about for years to come.

6 cups milk

6 cups heavy cream

1 Cup white chocolate melting chips or wafers

3/4 Cup peppermint schnapps

1 Cup milk chocolate melting chips or wafers

1 pack wooden toothpicks

1 bag marshmallows

1 shaker chocolate sprinkles

Bring milk to a simmer in a heavy large saucepan.

Reduce heat to medium-low.

Add white chocolate and stir until smooth.

Remove from heat and stir in schnapps.

Transfer to a round chafing dish with a ladle for guests to serve themselves into individual mugs.

Serve with chocolate-dipped marshmallows on the side.

Chocolate Dipped Marshmallows:

Melt milk chocolate chips in a small bowl in the microwave for 10-second increments; stir until smooth.

Insert a toothpick into a marshmallow and swirl the bottom half of the marshmallow in the chocolate.

Immediately shake sprinkles over the chocolate. Place on wax paper until chocolate sets.
