Picante Shandy Cocktail Recipe

A beer cocktail that is perfect for those looking for something with less kick than a traditional cocktail, this drink recipe still packs plenty of great flavor and is as refreshing as any other!

What's so fantastic about this cocktail recipe is that it appeals to both men and women. A bit sweet, with a hint of heat, it also works well year round and can be made with your favorite brew.

Ingredients:

6 ounces of light beer

2 ounces of 7up or Sprite

A pinch of cayenne pepper

A squeeze of fresh lime.

Directions:

In a tall glass add the beer and soda and allow them to settle before adding a pinch of cayenne pepper. Garnish the glass with a lime wedge or wheel, and then serve, chilled.

Don't add ice to this cocktail as it will water the drink down. If you prefer your beer extra chilled, consider serving in a glass beer mug that has been chilled in the freezer.
