Pumpkin Pie Dip

Have you braced yourselves? It’s coming! It will be here before we know it and it will totally and completely take over our lives. I'm talking of course about pumpkin spice season!

I live for pumpkin spice season. The delicious fall flavors lend themselves to recipes both sweet and savory. Cooking with pumpkin and discovering all the ways you can use its flavors makes autumn one of my favorite times of year! I never get tired of it, and am always ready for it to come around again.

Ever since Starbucks introduced the Pumpkin Spice Latte, I’ve been hooked. Anything flavored like pumpkin pie is more than fine by me!



In the spirit of pumpkin spice season, I've created this delicious Pumpkin Pie Dip. It has all the taste of a delicious pumpkin pie, in an easy and delicious dip. This recipe is really simple to make, fun and definitely a crowd-pleaser. Use fruit, vanilla wafers, graham crackers or cinnamon sugar pita chips to dip into this delicious dessert dip.

  • 1 package (8 ounces) spreadable cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 container vanilla (or regular) Cool Whip


In an electric mixer, cream together all of the ingredients and blend until smooth and well-incorporated.

Serve cold, with graham crackers, fruit, cinnamon pita chips, or vanilla wafers
