Raspberry Fizzle Cocktail for a Polka Dot-Themed Birthday Party

If you’re following along with our polka-dot inspired “half birthday” party celebrating the six month mark of our little ones, we’re inviting you in for a closer look at one element geared toward the adults — cocktails!

A simple way to incorporate the adult beverages into the polka dot party theme and take advantage of fresh produce, is to create a grown up version of the popular kids drink, shirley temple.

With hints of sweetness and a bright touch of red, this raspberry fizzle is a refreshing drink for guests to enjoy… and don’t worry, the raspberries floating in each glass are still perfectly in line with your polka dot party theme!

Ingredients
  • Simple syrup (Check out our easy simple syrup recipe)
  • Gin
  • Prosecco
  • Fresh raspberries (or blackberries)
Directions

Fill glass or champagne flute less than 1/4 way with simple syrup.

Add one ounce of gin. Top with champagne.

Garnish with raspberry.

Makes: 1 cocktail
