Spiked Peach Lemonade

During the summer, I cannot get enough of refreshing, fruity cocktails. With the end of summer approaching and Labor Day parties on my mind, this Spiked Peach Lemonade is the perfect cocktail to beat the end-of-summer heat! Especially since peaches are deliciously ripe and in season.

Although I love tasty cocktails of all varieties, the easy ones are my absolute favorite. When you’re celebrating with friends, the last thing you want to do is spend the whole evening away from your guests mixing drinks. This cocktail is simple, quick to make and sure to be a crowd favorite.

Just make a big batch, put in a pitcher and have guests serve themselves all throughout the party. Since peaches are ripe and juicy in August, the end of summer is the perfect time to pay homage to the summer fruit. Although this recipe calls for frozen peaches, you can use fresh peaches as-is, or frozen overnight.

Ingredients
  • 1-pound package frozen peaches
  • 12-ounce can frozen lemonade concentrate
  • 1/2 cup good quality vodka
  • 36 ounces water (fill the lemonade cup up three times)
Directions

Place all of the ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth

Serve over ice. Can also be made into a slush. Add ice to blender and only 1 can of water would be needed.

Makes: About 4 servings
