Thai Chicken Hors d'Oeuvres

An oriental appetizer your guests are sure to love! Thai Food is known for it's bold, rich flavors as well as the health benefits their herbs and spices carry! Your guests are sure to love these yummy treats.

Tasty treats no matter if served room temperature, cold or hot, these tidbits can be plated attractively on a bed of lettucea and garnished with lime slices. 

Use them in mini-kabobs with strips of bell peppers, tomatoes and onions for colorful, bite-sized treats.


4 chicken breasts
1/4 stick butter
1 cup Teriyaki sauce
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1/4 cup sesame oil
1 cup cornstarch
6 cup peanuts for a garnish, if you like.


Clean the chicken and cut in one inch cubes.

Heat a skillet and add the butter and sesame oil.

Toss the chicken in the cornstarch and then add to the hot pan and saute till brown.

When the chicken is nicely browned add the teriyaki glaze and then before you platter it add the sesame seeds.


Makes 20 Pieces
