Turkey Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus

An easy side dish is a necessity during Christmas time. There is nothing better than a dish that takes minutes to make, has very little ingredients, and is a hit with everyone at the dinner party - this Turkey Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus is just that.

You simply wrap the asparagus in a piece of Turkey Bacon and then sprinkle the bacon-wrapped asparagus with salt and pepper. Bake the asparagus until it’s a nice dark golden brown and then your done!

Other than how easy this dish is, one of my other favorite things about this bacon-wrapped asparagus is that it is healthy. It’s low in unhealthy fats and calories, and is also allergy-friendly, with no added gluten (or wheat). Everyone will be amazed with how delicious and healthy this side dish is!

Ingredients
  • 1 package of Turkey Bacon - The package should have around 20 slices of Turkey Bacon inside
  • 1 Bundle of Asparagus, About 20 pieces
  • Salt and Pepper, to Taste
Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with foil. Set aside until needed.

Grab one piece of turkey bacon and, starting from the bottom, wrap one piece of asparagus with the bacon. Place the bacon-wrapped asparagus on the prepared baking sheet, seam side down. Finish wrapping the asparagus with the turkey bacon and, once finished, sprinkle the tops of the bacon-wrapped asparagus with salt and pepper.

Bake the bacon-wrapped asparagus until the turkey bacon has turned a dark-golden brown and the asparagus has softened and browned.

Once done baking, remove the asparagus from the oven and place on a serving dish. Serve immediately. These last up to 3 days in a sealed container kept in the refrigerator. To re-heat, place in the microwave for 60 seconds or oven at 425 degrees for 10 minutes.

Makes: About 20 pieces
