White Chocolate-Covered Oreo Baseballs

These Oreo Baseballs are quick and easy, and the perfect dessert to whip up quickly for your World Series watch party.

All you need are three ingredients – Oreos, white chocolate, and red piping gel – and in just minutes, you have adorable edible baseballs.

The quick and delicious recipe is perfect to make in big batches for a crowd. It can easily be doubled (or tripled) if you know you are going to be serving a big group of hungry fans.

Ingredients
  • One 14.3 ounce package of Oreos (one standard package of Oreos should have 36 cookies)
  • 6 cups white chocolate, chopped
  • Red piping gel (I used a standard grocery store-bought brand)
Directions

Place the white chocolate in a medium sized bowl. Place the bowl over a small pot of simmering water. Stirring occasionally, allow the chocolate to melt completely until it is smooth. Remove the bowl from atop the pot. Place a large piece of parchment paper on a clean surface next to the white chocolate.

Carefully submerge one Oreo into the white chocolate, making sure the Oreo is completely covered. Place the white chocolate-covered Oreo onto the parchment paper. Continue with the remaining cookies.

Allow the Oreos to dry completely. Once dried, use the red piping gel to pipe baseball seams onto the top surface of each covered cookie. Serve once the red piping gel has dried.

These last up to five days in a sealed container.

Makes: 36 Oreo balls.
