Bright, bold and personalized are what these kid birthday party ideas are all about!
Pear Tree Greetings created an irresistible invitation for a 5th birthday celebration. We personalized the invitation with a couple of our favorite pictures of our birthday girl. The black and white photographs were tucked in amongst the pink, orange and aqua balloons on the clever fold-out invitation.
One look at the finished invitation, and we were ready to decorate. We borrowed the cheery color scheme and balloon theme and created a show-stopping party!
Inspired by the pink, orange and aqua balloons on the Balloon Craze invitation, we gathered up a big bundle and tied them to the lamp post outdoors.
And speaking of "Balloon Craze," how about a wreath made of 400 balloons to hang on the front door? It's super fun to make and can be displayed to celebrate any member of the family's birthday. Party guests will be singing Happy Birthday before you even open the door!
We loved the color combination on the Balloon Craze invitation. It proved to be a festive and fun color scheme for our birthday party tablescape. To make a bold statement, we divided the table in 3 sections and then dedicated each section to a saturation of color.
Paper flowers; also called "lollies" made the perfect centerpieces for our birthday table.
The combination of colors, patterns, ribbons, and buttons just sing happiness! The lollies are easy to construct, very inexpensive, and don't need watering.
Clear glass jars filled with pink, orange and aqua candies added some extra pizazz to the party table.
The children got to create their own party favors by scooping candy into a little pink paper bag to take home with them.
We loved the stickers that went with PearTree's Balloon Craze invitation. They instantly turned a little pink sack into an adorable party favor for the kids.
Good things come in small packages! Cupcakes in a jar are a special treat. We made flavors and colors to coordinate with our party colors. Blueberry, pink lemonade, and orange cream...YUM in a jar!
We displayed the same black and white photograph of our party girl that was on the invitation. A wooden craft frame covered in a pink polka-dot paper was super easy to make and looked adorable beneath a bouquet of pink lollies.
Grown-ups enjoyed a cup of coffee with their cupcakes. The kids sipped milk with colorful crazy straws.
