World Series Celebration Essentials

Yes, Sundays in the fall are all about football. But at the end of October, baseball officially takes over the when the National League and American League champs face off in an epic battle for the World Series title. To host your own watch party, you'll need some MLB essentials.

Drinking a cold beer at the baseball stadium is always one of the best parts of watching the game, but those beers are like $9 a pop, and it gets chilly this time of year. Plus, World Series tickets are ridiculously expensive, so why not host a watch party at your place instead?

Whether you're tuning in to cheer on your favorite team (go Cards!), or just like using any sporting event as an excuse to celebrate (why not?), we've got all of the essentials you need to throw the best World Series watch party. And you don't have to worry about the drunkards making a scene in the bleachers, which is a major plus.

For your watch party, make sure you have enough snacks and treats to keep everyone happy. Of course, root beer floats are always a crowd pleaser, and it's not a sporting event without beer. So why not combine the two and make our delicious Homemade Beer Float? It's the perfect adult beverage.

Homemade nachos give that stadium-at-home feel, so try our Spicy Homemade Nachos with Homemade Nacho Cheese. Give classic nachos a twist with our Savory Sausage Nachos. You can even serve them in adorable cardboard containers like they do at the game. Keep the trays to make some popcorn, like our Yummy Peanut Butter Popcorn or Spicy Popcorn.

It wouldn't be a baseball game without some hot dogs -- and at your own party, you don't have to wait in a long line or flag down a seller in the stands. Try our Jalapeno Cheddar Hot Dog or our Mac and Cheese Topped Hot Dog (really) for some delicious snacks your guests will love.

Don't forget about setting the scene. Use our Vintage Baseball-Themed Decor to really give the playoff vibe at your party. Ready? Play ball!
