Christmas Morning Santa Trail Ideas

Kids wake up bright and early on Christmas morning, with an excited gleam in their eye and pep in their step as they race to the family Christmas treet to see what goodies Santa has left for them.

And while the young ones are eager to tear open their gift wrapping paper, it's also fun to add a bit of magic to the spirit of Christmas. To really keep the belief of Santa Claus and his reindeer, make a decorative Santa trail for your kids to see when they wake up Christmas morn.

To leave a trace of snow and a big boot footprint, create some North Pole Tracks that look like Santa has walked through the house and left a powdery trail. It's a really simple, but fun way to bring the magic of Christmas.

Take your Santa spirit to the next level with some DIY Christmas Santa's Workshop Wrapping Paper, which gives the appearance that the package made the trek all the way from the North Pole to your living room. It's really simple to cut up an apple or potato, dip in brown paint and create tracks on the paper. Crunch it up for an extra effect. Our expert Coryanne Ettiene shows you how!
