Splendid Spring Cocktails

As the snow melts and the flowers bloom, nothing puts us in the mood for spring more than a light and refreshing cocktail.

With fresh seasonal fruit, luscious herbs and fun floral garnishes, mixing up a cocktail in honor of spring can be just as fun as it is tasty. After this horrific winter we've been having in New York (snowtorms on snowstorms on snowstorms), we're all too eager to put our snow boots away, bust out our favorite skirts and sip on something fruity.

For a light and pretty drink, try mixing up one of our favorite Beautiful Spring Bellini recipes. With ingredients such as honeydew melon, mixed berries or grapefruit, there's sure to be a bubbly concoction that gets you excited for spring.

Hibiscus is a lovely flower, but did you know it's also edible? The Kissters created a delicious Hibiscus Champagne Cocktail using syrup-soaked hibiscus flowers, champagne and ginger liqueur. Not only does it taste good, but it looks lovely, too!

As you may have noticed, floral elements in cocktails is really trendy, especially for spring. St. Germain is a delicate liqueur made with elderflower. It mixes well with champagne, like in our Strawberries and St. Germain cocktail. Just add fresh strawberry puree to your sparkling wine-St. Germain mix for a yummy fruity drink!
