Savory Thanksgiving Stuffing Recipes

Everybody always makes such a fuss over Thanksgiving turkey, the main event at the traditional holiday meal. But if you’re like me, the best part about Thanksgiving dinner isn’t the turkey, or mashed potatoes, or even the pie – it’s the stuffing.

The moist, creamy side-dish has always been a superstar at Thanksgiving feasts, and offers a savory complement to the tangy cranberry sauce and bland turkey. Surely, every family has their own recipe that’s been passed on from generation to generation. Maybe your family makes stuffing with raisins, or uses freshly made breadcrumbs instead of croutons.

But if you’re looking to add a new stuffing recipe to your holiday meal, or aren’t quite satisfied with the one you’ve been serving (sorry, Aunt Gertrude), try one of our savory Thanksgiving stuffing recipes.

For an extra kick of spice, make our Southwestern-Style Stuffing, which includes black beans, corn and fresh jalapeno. If you or your dinner guests are gluten-free, then try our delicious Gluten-Free Andouille Sausage Stuffing recipe. And for a more down-home comfort food taste, try our Cornbread Turkey Stuffing recipe.

The Wild Mushroom Thanksgiving Stuffing is crunchy on top, but moist inside for a delicious side your whole family will love.

This Thanksgiving, you may be stressing over if the turkey is cooked correctly, how many bread rolls you might need and if the pies are up to snuff. But as long as you have a delicious stuffing (and some stiff drinks), your guests will be more than satisfied.
