A Tulip-Themed Mother's Day Brunch

If you want to celebrate the friends in your life who are mothers and tell them how awesome they are, why not host a sweet Mother's Day brunch?

A beautiful spring brunch starts with beautiful flowers, and nothing signifies spring more than fresh tulips. I ordered these Timeless Tulips from 1800Flowers.com, and created a gorgeous setting by displaying these flowers in DIY Gold-Dipped Vases. Let the flowers and simple, yet sophisticated vases be the focal point of decorations and you won't have to do much more.

Mini food makes for easy (and delicious!) serving and devouring, so I prepared these mini brunch food sliders; mini chicken and waffles, and mini pancakes with Nutella, strawberries and bananas. Serve them alongside a large fruit salad and you got yourself a pretty sweet brunch set up.

As for the libations, I also kept things light, sweet and colorful. Tell your guests to kick back and relax with these lovely apple rose fizz drinks. Infused with homemade rose simple syrup, this punch is fresh and fruity, with a hint of floral. The edible flowers will add that special touch and make the party see extra fancy!

As your guests leave, hand them a homemade party favor that's easy to make, but will be appreaciated by all. Going along with the tulip theme, I made these Organic Two-Lip Balm favors and packaged them up really cutely.  As the ladies gather the favors and head out, remember to tell them what a wonderful mother they are!
