Throw a Valentine's Day Movie Night

Going out on Valentine's Day sounds better in theory. Expectation: A romantic night out with the one you love in a softly lit romantic restaurant, with delicious champagne and sexy music. Reality: Annoying crowds and loud restaurants trying to serve you over-priced wine and bland desserts.

Instead, spend the night cuddled at home with your loved one enjoying a moderately-priced – or $3 buck Chuck, whateves – bottle of wine and a good movie. To make the night feel a little more special, we have some fun ideas to turn your at-home movie night into a sexy date night you both will remember.

Pick a Classic Rom Com That's Actually Good

Not all romantic comedies star Katherine Heigel and include some lame meet-cute stereotype. Take a look at some of the best Romantic Comedies of the Last Century and pick a classic for you and your boo to enjoy!

Serve Popcorn in Style

You can't have a movie night without popcorn. Serve a giant tub of popcorn from The Popcorn Factory, and add your own DIY touch, like we did with our Gold Foil Popcorn Tin

Forget the Xs and Os: Play Popcorn Tic-Tac-Toe

For a fun little game, use washi tape to create a tic-tac-toe board on the inside of your popcorn tin. If you have two different flavors – we had red and white kettle corn from The Popcorn Factory – play a game of tic-tac-toe! It sounds lame, but it's actually a lot of fun (and makes for some really cute Instagram pics).

Make a Sexy Cocktail

Not all movie theaters have a liquor license (boo!), so take advantage of being at home and pour yourself and your love a drink. Check out our Sexy & Smoky Whiskey Cocktails for Valentine's Day.

Give a Homemade Card

Save some cash by making your own homemade Valentine using supplies you probably already have around the house. These DIY Valentines are made with some white printer paper and a deck of cards! Plus, they turned out super cute.
