Double Fudge Skinny Brownies

Sticking to a healthy eating plan can be challenging, but it doesn’t have to be impossible! Rewards must be built in – this is a must! If you don’t allow yourself a little sweet treat every now and then, you’ll feel absolutely deprived. 

That is why we are IN LOVE with this recipe for double-fudge skinny brownies. Low-fat Greek yogurt is used in place of butter in the brownie recipe, cutting down the fat but adding a yummy texture!



And the delicious icing that makes them feel extra decadent is made with honey and cocoa powder, two excellent natural ingredients to have in your kitchen!


  • For the Brownies
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup low-fat Greek Yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder


For the Icing

  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour an 8-inch square pan.

Stir together white sugar, eggs, Greek yogurt, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Beat in 1/3 cup cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Spread into prepared pan.

Bake in preheated oven until brownies are just set in the center, 20 to 25 minutes.

For the icing: combine 3 tablespoons butter, 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, honey, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and confectioner's sugar in a bowl; beat until smooth. Frost brownies while they are still warm.
