Last-Minute Easter Treat: Easter Brownie Nests with Mini Cadbury Eggs

An Easter sweet treat that also doubles as an adorable centerpiece? Yes, please!

We love this cute idea for brownie nests with candy eggs that is simple to make and is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. You just need your favorite recipe for brownies (a mix from a box works just fine), and some cute Easter candies to really complete the look.

This is perfect for a last-minute Easter recipe to bake with the kids on Saturday or early Sunday morning. It will be a fun and hands-on project for everyone, and you can proudly display your new brownie nests on the Easter brunch or dinner table as an edible centerpiece!

Use your favorite Easter candy. We used mini Cadbury eggs to fill the nests, but you can also use pastel M&Ms, mini marshmallows or even jelly beans. Add some Peeps on top to really accentuate the nest idea!

  • 1 box of brownie mix + any additional ingredients it calls for
  • 1 muffin tin
  • 1 bag mini Cadbury eggs
  • 1 box Peeps marshmallow candies
  • 1 bag jelly beans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees (or, according to directions on the box). Grease a muffin tin well using butter or a heavy amount of oil cooking spray.

Mix brownies and any necessary ingredeitns together, according to directions. Then, pour into well-greased muffin tins and bake at recommended time on box.

While the brownies are cooling but still warm and maleable, push down slightly with a spoon to get the nest-shape. (Bonus: You can lick the delicious brownie batter right off the spoon!).

After the brownies have cooled completely, remove from the muffin tins and place on a pretty plate. Fill with an assortment of jelly beans, mini Cadbury eggs, and place Peeps marshmallows all around until you achieve your desired look!

This would make a lovely Easter brunch centerpiece that is 100% edible!
