Go Green! Repurpose These Items in Your Home

There are so many amazing things around your house that you shouldn't toss aside until you watch this video! By repurposing items you already own, you are not only going green and helping the environment; but you'll find you look at your possessions in a whole new creative light. We'll show you a whole new way to arrange flowers, travel with jewelry, and have drinking glasses your friends will rave over.

Here are a few of the amazing options for repurposing around the home:

A big favorite of our is to repurpose a mason jar as a drinking glass!  The best to use for drinking glasses are salsa jars. Simply wash very well after it is finished, and soak overnight in soapy water to remove the label. If you need a little extra help with the sticky label glue, simply use a dab of turpentine on a soft cloth. If you’re looking for a cute wine glass, a jam jar is just the right fit.

You can make a beautiful candle display by arranging votives in a variety of different sized glass jars.

By saving cool glass bottles from your own use, or even flea market sales; you’re inventing a whole new way to arrange a bouquet of fresh flowers. We broke up a large flower arrangement into several cool glass bottles to have pretty flowers in every room!

This jewelry tin will help you keep track of small things like your jewelry and hair clips when you travel.  This could also work for vitamins.
