How to Beautifully Wrap a Wine Bottle

A lovely bottle of wine can make a great hostess gift any time of year, and if it’s during the holidays, it can be extra welcome! Who doesn’t want a little holiday cheer to help entertain guests and to keep glasses full?

If you’re giving the gift of wine this year to a lucky recipient, make sure your presentation is stunning as well. In just three easy steps, we’ll show you how to wrap a bottle of wine that wows a crowd and stands out in any room!

Supplies
  •
  • 1 Bottle of Wine
  • 1 Square Piece of Gauzy Fabric, at least 24” x 24”
  • 1 Square Piece of Tissue Paper, at least 24” x 24”
  • 1 Piece of Ribbon, at least 12”
Directions

Step 1: Lay out on a smooth surface the piece of gauzy fabric. Then, at a 90 degree angle place the tissue paper on top.

Step 2: Stick your bottle of wine in the middle and grab up all fabric to surround the bottle. You’ll notice because the edges don’t line up perfectly, the top of the bottle will have a lovely voluminous look.

Step 3: Secure this ‘blossoming’ wrapped bottle of wine with a bow that is almost half way down the bottle; you really want to show off the layers of gauze and tissue at the top!
